November 7-9, 2018
Camp Bluebird, started by Our Lady of Lourdes in 1990, offers a unique therapeutic experience for adult cancer survivors. Our focus is to bring cancer patients and survivors to a place of acceptance of their diagnosis in a spiritual and healing environment amidst the beauty of nature. This three day, two night camp is held at The Wesley Center in Woodworth, LA. Recreational activities include table and lawn games, hiking, crafts, fishing, socials and quiet time.

  • A dynamic, healing journey toward emotional and spiritual well-being for people who experience cancer
  • An opportunity to gain a better understanding of non-medical needs and to learn coping strategies from others that have made lifestyle adjustments through living with cancer.
  • Learning, laughter and celebrating life
  • Recreation
  • Nutritional information
  • Creative outlets through music, games, arts & crafts
