Community Served

St. Bernadette Community Clinic - established in 1995 in collaboration with the Diocese of Lafayette, St. Bernadette Clinic provides free non-emergency medical care to the non-working poor and homeless. Service coordinated through this clinic include acute and follow-up care, dental care, eye care referrals and more. Since its doors have opened, the St. Bernadette Clinic has provided health care services with more than 20,000 patient visits.

To continue to provide these outreach services, Lourdes Foundation must raise $1.5 million annually. All gifts will help us reach this annual goal.

Congregational Health Services - responds to specific needs by utilizing committed volunteers of church parishes and congregations. The volunteers work with Lourdes to coordinate educational seminars, health screenings and to collaborate with other agencies or resources within the community. The objective is to grant access to at-risk populations to medical and preventive services, thereby keeping the community healthy.

Northside High School Health Center - this school-based health center is a collaboration between Our Lady of Lourdes and the Lafayette Parish School Board. This center provides free health care services to students and staff. The goal in founding the center was to establish a resource for students whom the school board deemed most in need of healthcare.
